This is episode 11 of our serial killer podcast, Serial Killer Z to A.

In this brand new episode of the serial killer podcast we hear the story of one of the most important people involved in the Zodiac case, Robert Graysmith.

Graysmith was the editorial cartoonist at the San Francisco Chronicle, and was present in the editorial meeting when the Chronicle received the first letter that Zodiac mailed. Graysmith was instantly hooked on trying to find out who was behind the letter and cipher.

He spent several years trying to solve the case himself before deciding to write a book about the case, and detailing everything that was known at the time. He began speaking with friends and family members of the victims, and eventually speaking to the detectives who were investigating the case.

This is the first of three episodes telling the story of Robert Graysmith and his involvement in the case.
