This week's episode starts off with an update on a enigmatic Latin-Punic inscription mentioned a few weeks ago in the Sulcis episode. Then we dive into the site of Complutum, located near Madrid in the town of Alcalá de Henares. The remains here include an urban archaeological site that preserves elements of the forum area of the city, as well as an interesting private dwelling (or is it?) called the Casa de Hippolytus and an archaeological museum with a number of mosaics among its artifacts.
Be sure to check the blog posts on Complutum for pictures and a map!
