Christopher Golden is an author and editor of horror, fantasy, and suspense fiction. He also founded the Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival.Golden has published dozens of books, including novels for adults, novels for and young adults, series, and franchise tie-in series for Hellboy and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He has also written and co-written comic books, video games, screenplays, and a network television pilot.Golden's work has been nominated for the British Fantasy Award, the Eisner Award, and multiple Shirley Jackson Awards. His work has been nominated tor the Bram Stoker Awards ten times in eight different categories, and won twice.
