New eps of this show are a drop-everything-and-listen-right-now event as far as I’m concerned. I will never forget binging dozens of episodes on a long drive to visit my QP last summer. It was so fun and relaxing, perfect pacing and tone to keep me engaged without distracting me from whatever else I might be doing. The worldbuilding in this show is just absolutely phenomenal, also, and there is so much diverse and casual representation of people from all walks of life, queer identities, and various disabilities and mental health issues (including a shoutout to an uncommon disorder that I have, which was really respectful and I appreciated so much.) The creator takes special care with difficult topics to achieve a satisfying balance of humor and emotional catharsis, and overall a sense of community that I think many of us pine for in the real world. HUGELY recommend to anyone who loves radio/agony aunt style stories, and specifically to fans of WTNV.
