Janelle Nimer, Ph.D., LCSW has over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families achieving their therapeutic goals. Dr. Nimer graduated from the University of Utah with a Master’s in Social Work and from the University of Tennessee with a Doctorate in Social Work. Dr. Nimer also completed a three-year doctoral fellowship focusing on Veterinary Social Work. She also worked at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital where she was able to work with children in crises, who had experienced a traumatic event, and who were dealing with chronic illnesses. Dr. Nimer approaches therapy from a systems perspective including the entire family even when working individuals.
