The narrator/host constantly feels the need to whisper through every episode. I don't know if she thinks this is somehow building tension and drama, but it is really distracting and gets pretty annoying by about the third episode. The other thing that made this a miss for me is that it becomes obvious that the host has developed her own theory as to what happened and who is responsible. And so the final 8 episodes are basically her trying to shoehorn every little aspect of the case (including how one of the potential suspects behaved at the funeral) to fit into her theory. I hate podcasts like this that don't let the evidence speak for itself but rather take on the personal beliefs of the person creating the podcast. A total waste of my time. It's a shame too because this is a case that has affected so many people across multiple families. But this podcast doesn't do the victim's memory justice unfortunately.
