Steven M. Fishman is a journalist, magazine writer, and author. Currently, he is a contributing editor for New York Magazine. He is known for interviewing difficult subjects, such as Son of Sam in prison and Bernie Madoff. In 2022, he launched his podcast company, Orbit Media.Fishman's first podcasts was "Ponzi Supernova," about Madoff. His second podcast was "Empire on Blood."Fishman began his career in journalism at a local paper, the Norwich Bulletin in Connecticut.
