Melissa Murray is a professor at New York University School of Law. Prior to joining New York University, Murray was a professor at the University of California Berkeley, eventually serving as faculty director of the school’s Center on Reproductive Rights and Justice and as Berkeley Law’s interim dean.Murray received her B.A. in History from the University of Virginia and her J.D. in Law from Yale Law School. She then clerked for U.S. District Judge Stefan Underhill in Connecticut and Judge Sonia Sotomayor of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
